Annie's Biscuits (Butter biscuits)


You won't believe how easy it is to make these yummy biscuits.  They are not too sweet,
but has just the right balance of butter and sugar, so you don't have to adjust the sugar level.



Annie's Biscuits 


55 g softened butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 large dessert spoon cornflour ( I used the normal metal spoon that we use for meals)
1 cup self raising flour




Method:
1.  Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.  Grease baking tray.
2.  Cream butter and sugar, then beat in egg.  
3.  Add sifted flours and mix well.
4.  Roll out the dough and cut into shapes or use a biscuit forcer.
5.  Place on prepared tray and bake for about 11 minutes.
6.  Cool baked biscuits on the rack before storing.


Makes 20 biscuits.
