Homemade Salsa

This is a child-friendly, non-spicy salsa.  If you wish to make it spicy, you may feel free to add a dash of tabasco sauce to give it the additional spicy kick.  My 10 year old son who normally doesn/t eat capsicums, onions and tomatoes will gladly pile this up in his fajita and tacos as a condiment.  It is a great way to let children eat their vegetables.  The mixture is very light and refreshing, and can get quite addictive,  You can also use this as a condiment for your chips.

The ingredients:

1/2 a very large tomato,🍅 (Chopped roughly)
1/2 red capsicum
1/2 yellow capsicum
1/2 green capsicum
1/2 very large onion 🧅 ( red/ yellow does not matter)
Juice of 1/2 Thai lime
1/2 tsp of salt

The method is simple:

1, Prepare to chop all the vegetables roughly into small squares.

2. Add the juice of 1/2 a Thai Lime and add the salt to taste.

3. Mix all the chopped vegetables together.

4. Chill the salsa in an airtight container or airtight Tupperware in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
